AAPV participated in a panel discussion on peacebuilding in Cameroon organized by CHRDA, bringing together key perspectives on how sustainable peace can be strengthened from the grassroots level.
The discussion emphasized the importance of understanding the history and root causes of conflict, promoting community dialogue and mediation, engaging the right actors at the right time, and prioritizing safety, neutrality and responsible advocacy. Participants also highlighted the need to extend peacebuilding efforts beyond major cities, strengthen collaboration between organizations and ensure that local communities remain at the centre of the process.

For AAPV, lasting peace is more than the absence of conflict. It is built through dialogue, justice, inclusion, trust, understanding and collective action.
